In 2020 and at the height of the pandemic, we manufactured 2 large signs promoting “Love the NHS”. This was made up of a giant heart outlined and in-filled in red LED’s and the NHS letters in blue LED’s. Each of these signs set off towards the north and south from HQ in Liverpool. Each destination was to be a NHS hospital where the staff had been particularly overwhelmed by the pandemic. Due to “unnecessary travel” being banned, each of our offices would meet at a halfway point to exchange the displays as they moved from hospital to hospital, week by week. This initiative was very well received by frontline staff, which was incredibly rewarding for us to see.
In 2021 we installed 450 Christmas trees for o2 at their retail stores across the UK. They had asked us to re-purpose these trees as part of their sustainability policy. We distributed these trees throughout the northwest, to charities specifically that help those people in the community that can’t afford a Christmas tree.
Claire house is a charity that takes care of Children with cancer. On an annual basis we donate our showroom to them to film their fundraising and awareness campaigns. In addition we donate any surplus stock to the families of the children.
Alder Hey Childrens hospital is one of the biggest of its kind in the UK. While this hospital uses the Christmas Decorators as a commercial supplier, their budget doesn’t facilitate the amount of coverage that it required to make for a meaningful display. Therefore on an annual basis we supply lots of additional decorations to enhance the scheme, doubling it’s size and value.
